In celebration of World Hearing Day and Hearing Awareness Week, Canberra Audiology is holding the Hearing Awareness Open Day 2025. It is a rare chance to visit our Deakin clinic and speak with our audiologists about any hearing concerns AT NO COST. There is also the opportunity to discover the incredible difference the latest hearing aids can make in noisy environments trialling these devices in the clinic or going out for a coffee at our local cafe.

What Happens on an Open Day?
Step 1: Come in at your appointment time to speak with the audiologist about your hearing concerns, have a hearing check and perhaps try on some of our latest hearing aids.
Step 2: Either relax in our clinic with a coffee and cake, or make your way to our local cafe, EQ Cafe, and enjoy a coffee on us while you try our the hearing aids in a noisier environment.
Step 3: Return to the clinic for your follow up with your audiologist. Have a chat about your experience.
Step 4: Book any further appointments that you wish and pick up your free info bag!
Alternatively, there will be 1-2 audiologists available for a quick chat without an appointment. However, please be aware that if you have many questions or need more than 5 minutes to discuss your concern, it is best to make an appointment time so that we can help you most appropriately.

The hearing aids that are available for trial during the Open Day are supplied by Swiss brand, Phonak. With over 75 years of experience, they are at the forefront of hearing aid technology. The most recent development to come to the market is “artificial intelligence”, which offers superior speech clarity and hearing in background noise.
